Vacancy for Trust Appointed Governor
Want to help a good school on its journey to ‘be the best it can be’?
Claydon High School is looking to recruit a Trust Appointed Governor to its Academy Committee. We are seeking to appoint a colleague who is committed to promoting the school’s vision and values and our core purpose of empowering young people through education.
This is an exciting time to join the school’s established and experienced Academy Committee as it also recruits for a new Parent Governor and has just had an Ofsted Inspection to monitor the quality of education enjoyed by the student body. The Committee is particularly keen to recruit a member who has some experience of working to safeguard young people or with the Duke of Edinburgh award and who will reflect the growing diversity of our school community.
Prospective applicants are welcome to visit the school for a visit and meeting with the Headteacher, Maéve Taylor. Anyone who would like to speak with the Chair of the Academy Committee, Katherine West, should contact the school.
Any prospective applicants should submit an up-to-date CV along with a covering letter or personal statement which explains the skills and experience you can bring to the Academy Committee. Please include details of at least two referees who would support your application. Further notes for applicants are available here.
Closing date for applications: Noon on Thursday 21st October 2021
Interviews (tbc): Week commencing 8th November 2021
Further information can also be found on The Academy Committee page of our website.
