“Be the best you can be”

“Science knows no country, because knowledge belongs to humanity, and is the torch which illuminates the world.”

Louis Pasteur

If you want to illuminate our learners and to lead them to success now and in the future, then come and join our Science Faculty.

We are looking for well-qualified and enthusiastic teachers to teach Science across the age and ability range.  It would also be desirable to have someone able to teach Health and Social Care at KS4.  The successful candidates will be passionate about Science and committed to motivating students to reach their full potential.  Science is a popular and highly successful subject at Claydon High School and the successful candidates will be joining a well led and supportive department.

Due to the nature of these posts, colleagues may wish to consider applying for both but they will be on separate contracts.  Please call us to discuss this further if it would be helpful for you.

These posts would be suitable for a new entrant to the profession or a colleague seeking to broaden their experience.  Claydon High School and South Suffolk Learning Trust provide an excellent support programme for newly appointed staff. We pride ourselves on our positive hardworking ethos and collegiate atmosphere.

Claydon High School is a popular mixed comprehensive school on the outskirts of Ipswich, easily accessed from the A12 and A14.
