We are looking for a creative, innovative and enthusiastic practitioner to lead our team of PSHE teachers from September 2023 and to lead our focus on Personal Development. We want you to share our passion for teaching and learning, someone who is keen to motivate and challenge our students and our colleagues. This post would suit an ambitious and experienced individual looking to further develop their career.

The successful candidate will take a whole school lead on CEIAG including work experience for Year 10s, working with our Careers Advisor and Wider Opportunities Co-ordinator.
The post is open to colleagues who teach any subject although successful applicants will have experience of pastoral roles, personal development lead or PSHE teaching.
Claydon High School is a popular, oversubscribed and friendly comprehensive school on the outskirts of Ipswich; we are situated close to the A14 with easy transport links across Suffolk and into Essex. We are a small school with 776 students on roll which means that there is a close working relationship with all the staff and students in the school. As part of the South Suffolk Learning Trust we also work closely with other schools within the MAT to achieve “excellence through collaboration”.
If you require any further information, or you would like to visit the school, please do not hesitate to contact the Deputy Headteacher, Mark Ismay, on 01473 836110 or email mismay@claydonhigh.com.
We look forward to hearing from you.
